Fixings, Fillers, etc

As market leading manufacturers and suppliers of quality single skin and built up cladding systems, Coverworld are committed to supplying a complimentary range of quality accessories. This starts with a range of fixings which have been chosen for both their performance and cost effectiveness.

From its extensive stockholdings Coverworld can supply fixings in a variety of lengths for all common applications, together with lap stitching products, rooflight fixings, colour caps and a variety of more traditional fixings such as drive screws, hook bolts, etc.

Timber Fixings

Self Drilling Self Tapping timber fixings, available in lengths from 25mm to 150mm with a stainless steel bonded washer.

Can be used to fix steel sheeting directly to purlins or for fixing a built up bracket system directly to timber purlins.

Recommended minimum penetration into timber purlins is 30mm for sheet to purlin, or 40mm for brackets to purlin.

Cold Rolled Fixings

(Up To 3mm Max Purlin Thickness)

Self Drilling Self Tapping cold rolled fixings, available in lengths from 25mm to 150mm with a stainless steel bonded washer.

Can be used to fix steel sheeting directly to purlins or for fixing a built up bracket system directly to cold rolled purlins.

Also known as light section or Zed Purlin fixings.

Hot Rolled Fixings

Self Drilling Self Tapping angle iron fixings, available in lengths from 38mm to 150mm with either a 16mm or 29mm washer option.

Can be used to fix steel sheeting directly to angle iron or for fixing a built up bracket system directly to angle iron.

Also known as heavy section or hot rolled fixings.

Special Fixings

A variety of special fixings are available including lap fixings & fibre cement

Fixings

In addition to the comprehensive stocks of fixings, Coverworld has off the shelf large stocks of fillers to match all of its standard profiles. These fillers are produced from a closed cell cross linked polyethylene material and come in a standard black and white colouring.

Also available to special order are vented, adhesive and raked cut fillers, all of the above items are normally available ex-stock to be dispatched with cladding products or on a carrier for next day deliveries.
